My Project

I am a high school special education teacher for students with intellectual disabilities. I would like to set up a calming corner and a collection of rewards to motivate them in daily learning.

Most of the items in this project are used for student motivation(positive reinforcement).

When students know a real reward is waiting for them once they finish their task, they usually are motivated to finish their assignment and learn new skills. Worked as paraprofessional, BII and behavioral therapist in school, home and clinic, I've seen many students benefit from positive reinforcement.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement, behavioral management, social-emotional learning, even career planning!
