Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is a Title I school. My class consists of 12 students who have mild to moderate disabilities. This class focuses on academic, career and essential skills. Our classroom is a mix of students with different abilities and grades varying from third grade to fifth grade.

Although our kids are frustrated on many different levels, I hope to strive and create a classroom that is supportive of each and every​ child.

A classroom that is fun, exciting, and encourages exploring and learning.

My Project

I am extremely excited about my project because I know that these resources will help my students by supporting their development and giving them the opportunity to be successful during remote learning.

These materials will provide our students and their family with the tools that they need to support their child's social-emotional growth as well as their academic needs.

Picture this, each child will receive a tote bag with a visual calendar, a success chart, a timer, fidget toys, and math manipulatives. These essential items will not only inspire the students but also be useful to the families who have sacrificed so much!
