Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work at a Title I Charter school. Aside from being a resource teacher, I am also a Case Manager. I have a caseload of students who I support throughout the school year. These students not only see me as their special education teacher but as someone they can trust.

Therefore, my students come to me when hungry or need classroom supplies for other classes.

Although I will support them in any way I can, I can definitely use some help. As a seconded year teacher, my budget does not allow me to support them financially as much as I wish I could. I am requesting snacks, drinks, paper, pencils, and erasers they need throughout the day.

Because I worked with this group of students last year, I can guarantee they are grateful for all that is done for them. They are amazing students who are working hard to graduate high school. I want them to know that there are amazing people who believe in their future.
