My Project

I absolutely love my students’ curiosity and resilience in overcoming speech and language challenges. Each resource I’ve requested will support their unique needs, helping them communicate confidently and express their emotions. The Colors of Us book will allow us to explore identity and diversity while expanding vocabulary and comprehension. The emotion cards and sensory toys will provide tools for social-emotional learning, helping my students recognize and express their feelings, while the storytelling props will encourage creative expression and language development through play. The Velcro dots and gloves will keep our space organized, ensuring a clean, efficient, and welcoming environment.

The snacks will be used as rewards when my students fill up their "gem jar"—a fun way to celebrate their progress and hard work.

The tongue depressors and sensory oral tools will help me identify and treat oral motor disorders, supporting students’ articulation and feeding skills.

My goal is to create an inclusive, engaging space where all students, especially those learning English or with special needs, can thrive. What makes my students special is their unwavering eagerness to communicate and their diversity. They come from various backgrounds, and each day they inspire me with their determination to succeed. This project will help them build the confidence they need to express themselves and connect with others.
