Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
Our students are fortunate enough to live in a one-to-one district with ample access to technology. Unfortunately, one resource we struggle with maintaining is headphones.
Please help give our students the ability to participate with digital learning in a quieter environment, with headphones, and moreover, ones with microphones to engage with activities that promote speaking practice as they learn academic English.
Most headphones that are affordable for families are cheap, flimsy, and many do not include microphones, a key component in allowing students to express themselves and practice their new academic vocabulary.
Plus.... speaking into a microphone is simply fun and engages the students better in their learning.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
