My Project

Bullying, "roasting", and picking on people is becoming a weekly problem in my classroom. I have students that come to me every day claiming that someone is bullying them or explaining that they got upset because they were involved in a "roasting" session. I am on a mission to turn my class around and hold them accountable for their actions by having them spread the word in our school by SPEAKING OUT AGAINGST BULLYING.

My students will be going from classroom to classroom to pass out antibullying fliers, share what they have learned, and leave a friendship bracelet behind.

We are in the need for ink, paper, and lamination sheets for our colored printer so we can make engaging posters to hang around the school and fliers to pass out to bring awareness to the negative consequences of bullying and they will also showcase how to be an up-stander, not a by-stander. We will also use crayons and markers to create posters.

My hope is that students will build closer stronger relationships while making friendship bracelets to share with other students in the school. I can't wait to see how my students learn from this collaboration while working with each other.
