This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My project is fully for the Spartan Center which is a mental health wellness center. I hope to be able to ensure all students that come to our center are able to thrive in an environment that promotes mental wellness. The stigma surrounding mental health often leads to long-term difficulties for students and their families especially in rural communities. With the help from this project we will be able to further improve our wellness center. We will also be able to use the supplies for individual and group sessions throughout the school year and reuse for years to come.
