Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach middle school students who have special needs. My class is the Life Skills class for students with moderate to severe needs. Our unique class has the opportunity to go out into the community and learn life skills to increase independence. Our students get the chance to practice taking city transportation, making purchases at local stores, ordering food from restaurants and more.

With the help for amazing donors like you, my students will have the opportunity to learn more about being germ-free and increase their knowledge of basic life skills.

My Project

As we know, now more than ever, it is important to be clean and tidy. I hope to give my students the tools to do that through this project.

With Dial body soap, Dial hand wash and disinfestation spray, I hope to provide my students with essentials to help them and their families with hygienic needs.

I also hope to increase my students life skills by teaching them how to mop. Our students will learn to keep our class tidy by using wet mop sheets to clean up after they eat. Thank you in advance for providing my students with essentials to ensure their personal needs are met.
