My Project

Our middle school is located in a rural area of Mississippi, where resources are limited but creativity and potentials are boundless. To nurture the innovative spirit of our predominantly African American student body, I am seeking funding to provide Professional 3D Printing Pens with OLED displays. These tools will allow students to explore STEM concepts, design, and engineering in a hands-on, engaging way. With these pens, our students will have the opportunity to bring their ideas to life, fostering a deeper understanding of 3D modeling, spatial reasoning, and creative problem-solving.

Our students are eager to learn and express themselves, but they face significant challenges due to the limited access to advanced technology in our rural setting.

Despite these obstacles, they are passionate about learning new skills and are especially interested in exploring STEM fields. Many of our students aspire to careers in engineering, architecture, and technology, and they see this project as a stepping stone toward achieving those dreams.

The Professional 3D Printing Pens will enable our students to create three-dimensional objects directly from their imaginations. These pens are user-friendly, making them ideal for middle school students who are just beginning to explore the world of 3D design. The OLED displays will allow students to monitor the temperature and speed settings of the pens, giving them greater control over their creations.

By integrating these pens into our curriculum, we can offer hands-on learning experiences in a variety of subjects, including mathematics, science, art, and technology. Students will be able to visualize and create geometric shapes, prototype engineering projects, and even bring historical artifacts to life through detailed, three-dimensional replicas.
