This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my classroom, students are always looking for new ways to express their creativity, explore new ideas, and bring their projects to life. However, due to limited resources, we often find ourselves constrained in how far we can go with our ideas. That's why I’m asking for your support to bring a Cricut machine into our learning space.

A Cricut machine will allow my students to create detailed, personalized, and professional-quality projects, from custom designs for classroom decorations to unique art projects and even educational materials.

With this versatile tool, students will have the ability to explore design and craftsmanship in a whole new way, all while developing important skills in creativity, problem-solving, and technology.

How the Cricut Machine Will Benefit My Students:

Art and Craft Projects: Students will use the Cricut to create custom designs for personal projects, like creating wall art or school event decorations.

Personalized Learning Materials: We can design educational tools such as interactive flashcards, alphabet charts, or custom math manipulatives for different subjects.

STEM Activities: By combining the Cricut with simple engineering and design challenges, students can create their own models and prototypes.

Classroom Events: For school celebrations or fundraisers, students can design personalized T-shirts, mugs, and other items to sell or give away.

My Goals and the Impact of This Project:

The goal of this project is to foster creativity, innovation, and critical thinking in my students. By giving them access to a Cricut machine, I hope to inspire a love for design, arts, and crafts that extends beyond the classroom. In a world where creativity is becoming a vital skill, this tool will empower students to think outside the box and create projects that showcase their unique perspectives.
