My Project

My students are often under-represented in classroom books. Help me to create a wonderful library of engaging picture books for my Kindergartners to enjoy. These titles will serve as our read alouds for the entire school year!

During our daily Book Club time, students will listen and interact with these stories to learn about characters, setting, conflict resolution, problem/solution, and much more!

My goal is to have this project funded before the start of the '24-25 school year so all of our read alouds are available to us from the start of the year. My students are brave, smart, and kind Kindergartners eager to soak up knowledge while at school. They deserve to see themselves and their different cultures represented in these fun stories!
