My Students
The 1st-grade students at this school are the bight-eyes, ever wondered, future builders of the world. They enter our building ready to be inspired and inspire all the same. Our students are collaborators, competitors, and all-around succeeders.
Neil Gaiman once wrote that “Fairy Tales are more than true, not because dragons are real; but because dragons can be beaten.” Each child in my classroom is a titan of opportunity, ready to make mistakes and love each other more because of it.
They are my “bright sides,” my “silver-liners,” and my “larger-than-lifers.”
My Project
My students are the future and they need tools to help build and brighter future. The Amazon Fire tablet is a fantastic tool that my students deserve to experience and help their learning. These tablets will allow my students to collaborate in spaces like Kodable and SplashMath. It will also allow them the power to create their own video/audio projects to share with their peers.
In the future, my students will step into job titles that do not exist yet exist today.
It is my passion that my students know that they are worthy to be global competitors in a constantly evolving world. These tablets will allow my lessons in coding to flourish and put the power directly in their hands.
