My Project

Reading empowers students to both explore the world around us and to expand their imaginations.

The Wild Robot takes students on a colorful journey to a new, yet familiar world where they watch a lonely robot adapt and overcome many challenges and find their humanity in a world where she is only supposed to be a machine.

This novel is fun and engaging for students and helps them to see the power of imagination and literature. Students can connect with Roz and her struggles, compare the world she comes from with our own, and connect with the powerful relationship Roz has with others.

It has been years since I've been able to update my novel study library and I would love to add this creative book to my collection. It is truly a beautiful novel that will help reluctant readers find a love of reading and help advanced readers explore the power of imaginative writing.
