Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my school, we don't have an art class for our students, so I'm committed to nurturing creativity & social-emotional growth for my students by implementing art in the classroom.

Many of these items enhance fine motor skills, foster self expression, and help students understand how to manage their emotions through creative exploration.

The rolling cart will allow our supplies to be easily accessible for students to get whenever they need certain supplies. Chalk will allow students to take their creativity outdoors. The Crayon Dough will allow students to have a calming way to express themselves.

The Dot Markers will allow students to experiment with color blending and create beautiful artworks. Paintbrushes will replenish our old ones that are falling apart. The 2 racks will provide extra space for students to dry their painting project.

These supplies will greatly enhance our students' artistic experiences while supporting their social-emotional development. By providing the right tools, we help them build confidence, express their emotions, and develop a lifelong love for art.
