My Project

Reading in a language is one of the best ways to improve proficiency. From introductory language classes to Advanced Placement Spanish courses, silent reading can significantly impact our students' progress. I am asking for Spanish readers made for Spanish language learners to help my students improve with communication. Each of these novels is written explicitly with language learners in mind and is written by native speakers who bring the culture of their home countries to life through the stories that they have written. The books include glossaries at the back of each novel for students to be independent readers. They limit the number of words or grammar structures used to provide repetition, aiding comprehensibility.

My students crave choice, and providing a wide variety of readers at advanced levels will ensure that all students enjoy the reading process and are engaged and learning.

Not all students are alike, and I hope I can hook their interest and keep them reading in my class and maybe in other languages.
