This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I want to help further my students' education and foundational phonemic skills by using Heggerty. This program covers all the needed skills in an interactive and meaningful way for students every day. It is all laid out in a way that helps the teacher and the students to work on the needed phonemic awareness skills that students need to learn in order to be successful in their educational careers.
These skills are recognizing beginning and ending sounds, rhyming words, alliteration, letter names and sounds, and words in a sentence in Spanish.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
