My Project

Most of my students are Dominican, Puerto Rico, and Central America. Others are latine that grew up in our city. They all come to our Spanish for Spanish Speakers class with a variety of experiences reading and writing in Spanish. Some are comfortable with the task; others have never had to read or write in Spanish.

The goal of this library is to engage learners no matter what their experience with Spanish has been.

If they can find a book to that they want to read, that action will not only help their comprehension skills, but also their writing skills. This will be a great way to engage all students at all levels.
