My Project

Our school has a large immigrant population. We have lots of newcomers to the United States, including many Spanish speakers and a dual language (English/Spanish) program in the school. We are a new school and don't have much of a book budget.

Our library is unfortunately wholly English, and I feel a responsibility as the school librarian to provide reading materials for our Spanish speakers, both new to the United States and those who are learning Spanish in dual language classrooms.

Please help put books in the hands of our K-4 students!
