Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The items requested are all Spanish language books that I believe will help my students continue their excitement for reading. Having these books within our classroom walls will help them have greater exposure to the language. Not only will they be practicing their Spanish reading skills during our lessons but will have the opportunity to continue their language expansion through books of their choice.
I hope that this project will continue to motivate my students to practice their reading skills not only in English but in Spanish now that they will have more book options available to them.
My students are hardworking, motivated and already crazy about reading. I believe they deserve to continue feeling excited about reading!
