Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Over the years, our wonderful school community has grown in size. Due to this, our classroom has used creative methods with seating arrangements instead of sitting on the cold tiles of a public school. After many years of having various non-age-appropriate chairs, teacher-created milk crate benches, and squares of donated pieces of carpet, it's time for an upgrade. With one set of FlipForms in the classroom already, this seating has been loved in many different ways.

Due to their flexibility, these FlipForms have become a graduation stage in the times of COVID, a riser for a choral concert, a performance space in the classroom, and general seating for ages; Kindergarten to 8th Grade.

Having an additional set will allow all musicians to fit on the benches with the entire class and create space for all members to stand during a performance. It will create more seating for all ages to fit in and have some personal space while they are sitting.
