Our project, Time to Feel, Time to Heal aims to provide essential resources to support the emotional well-being and academic success of our 7th and 8th-grade students.
Project Details:
1. Snacks for Mental Clarity: We aim to provide nutritious snacks to our students, ensuring they have the energy and focus to engage fully in all learning activities. By addressing their physical needs, we pave the way for enhanced mental clarity and emotional regulation during classroom discussions and self-reflection exercises.
2. Diverse Books on SEL: We seek to enrich our students' understanding of social-emotional learning by expanding our classroom library with diverse books focusing on empathy, resilience, mindfulness, and emotional intelligence. These resources will serve as invaluable tools for facilitating meaningful discussions and fostering a deeper sense of self-awareness and empathy among our students.
Goals: Enhance students' social-emotional intelligence and self-awareness.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel valued and understood.
Empower students with the skills and tools necessary for effective communication, conflict resolution, and emotional regulation.
Cultivate a culture of empathy, compassion, and respect among students and staff alike.
Our students are resilient, compassionate, and eager to learn. They demonstrate remarkable determination and perseverance. What sets them apart is their commitment to supporting one another's growth and well-being. At our school, We are Crew. By investing in their social-emotional development, we not only equip them for academic success but also empower them to thrive as empathetic and resilient individuals in all aspects of their lives.
