This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help me to provide an enriching classroom transformation to support our Space/Solar Eclipse transformation day for the solar eclipse of 2024 along with our STAAR review. Students will use the stress balls, bendable astronauts, jolly ranchers, and pencils during the state test. This classroom transformation will provide students with a hands on experience of space review activities to help support the solar eclipse of 2024 and state test the day after.

The items included in this project such as the galaxy table clothes, stars, and outer space backdrop will help make these classroom transformations much more authentic.

Some of the materials will be used to decorate the classroom, while others will be for the students to wear. I am hoping to make these transformations exciting and engaging and hopefully something my students will remember for years to come.
