My Project

Can you hear it now? I've asked this question numerous times as I have attempted to adjust the sound on the headphone sets connected to the computers and audio book sets. It is often challenging for students to hear through the outdated headphones that we have been tasked to use. To support my students phonics instruction, I incorporate audio for students to hear and develop their letter sound recognition and build reading fluency. Not only will a fresh set of headphones help students to clearly listen to audio books, it will also maximize on task instruction and learning. This will have a tremendous impact on my students who are auditory learners and give others another way to access phonics instruction, which is essential to becoming a proficient and lifelong reader.
