My Students

The whole fourth grade is full of amazing, talented, and motivated learners. Each child is unique and works hard towards personal goals. In my classroom, we use our growth mindset to help us grow as learners.

All 75 of the fourth-grade students have different needs, strengths, and weaknesses.

They are readers, writers, mathematicians, historians, and scientists. They are creative, kind, and community workers.

In our school, we have created a community. We work together to solve problems. Together, we celebrate the highs and help each other get through the lows.

My Project

With the growing use of technology in our world, students are using technology in the classroom more often. Working on the Chromebooks in the classroom, students are able to improve their Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies skills. Students learn in many different ways. Using videos is one way that students can learn. With students working at different paces, having them watch videos on the Chromebooks can be challenging and noisy.

If each student were provided a pair of headphones, learning would sound differently in the classroom.

Students would be able to engage with learning in a new way. Students would be able to focus better on their own work without worrying about the other students around them.
