Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These new materials will be used to enhance and provide opportunities to use language to express their wants, needs, thoughts and ideas for students with disabilities.

The laminating sheets will be used to create core boards, requesting mats, visual schedules, book companion materials and therapy visuals.

Healthy snacks and toy reinforcers will be used to elicit requests in sentence form. Cleaning materials are needed for a safe, clean therapy space for student who require specifically designed instruction for success.

The goal of this project is to enhance learning language via a multimodal approach to promote generalization of communication skills in variety of settings for students with speech and language needs.
