Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
First, the larger trash can would help to keep our classroom clean and organized. With a larger trash can, we would not have to empty it as often, which would save us time and effort. Additionally, a larger trash can would help to reduce the number of times we have to take out the trash, which would reduce our environmental impact.
The composting trash bin would teach our students about the importance of recycling and composting.
By teaching our students how to compost food scraps and other organic materials, we can help them develop a sense of environmental responsibility. Additionally, composting can help to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfills, which is beneficial for the environment.
Third, the chart paper and markers would allow us to record our learning in a variety of ways. We could use the markers and paper to collect samples of our work, such as drawings and paintings. We could also use the chart paper and markers to create posters, charts, and graphs to illustrate our learning. By recording our learning in different ways, we can help our students develop a deeper understanding of the concepts that we are learning.
Overall, a larger trash can, composting trash bin, bags, and chart paper and markers would be valuable resources for my kindergarten classroom. These resources would help us to keep our classroom clean and organized, teach our students about the importance of recycling and composting, and record our learning in a variety of ways.
