Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a special education teacher and I teach students that are 3-5 year olds. My students have developmental difficulties such as speech and vision problems, limited motor skills, sensory processing difficulties and/or special learning challenges. These kiddos come from low-income communities and face challenges both in and out of the classroom.

Despite their challenges, my students come to class happy and eager to learn.

They love to be a part of the class and make new friends. I love teaching special education and give them new experiences as well as new exposures that help enhance their learning. Being their teacher is my greatest joy they brighten my days with their contagious smiles.

My Project

During this difficult time, my wish is to make distance learning a little better and more fun for my students. My project includes leaning tools that my preschoolers could use during distance learning that will allow them to use and stay engaged and keep learning.

My students love to learn while having fun.

After all children learn through play. Please help me give my students the gift of learning with basic school supplies. I am requesting stickers and laminating pouches for my preschoolers to continue their learning at home.Thank you in advance for providing my students with the essential materials to get them prepared for success. Your donations will make a tremendous difference is my students' academic lives.
