Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are part of a 12:1:1 self contained class. They are working hard on learning but at time due to their disabilities they need a fidget toy or something to help calm their sensory needs.

These fidget toys will help students return to baseline which will then help them continue to make progress in their learning.

In addition to the fidget and sensory tools, I am requesting Brain POP and Flocabulary. These two applications have a plethora of videos on various topics. I have learned that supplementing my teaching with these apps helps students as they (the videos) are engaging and support the students who are visual and auditory learners.
