Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

A hygiene corner would allow students to take charge of their hygiene and select the choices that work best for them. When a child is unable to take care of their hygiene is not only affects them but the rest of the students as well. Students become distracted and constantly complaining of the order they're smelling. I have seen the change when I have individual conversations with students and supply them with a care bag.

My students are noticeably more confident and there is less disruptions as students aren't complaining about body order.

This is a time that students are going through puberty and I am supporting them throughout this change.
