My Students

I want students to be excited about what they will be doing in music each day. This means providing them with a variety of songs and instrumental pieces throughout the school year. No student wants to hear the same music day after day for months and months!

I'm fortunate to teach over 600 amazing students on a daily basis.

We are a school district made up of eight smaller communities, each bringing their own unique talents and abilities to our schools. Our motto is "Joined as One, We Get the Job Done." This is truly a motivator for all of our students, staff and families. We strive for the best for our students in and out of the classroom.

My Project

These resources will provide students with a variety of songs to learn and sing. They will also introduce students to different instruments and encourage them to perform. Because of these resources, students will be exploring their musical talents and sharing them with their classmates through practice, collaboration and performance. Included in these materials are modern and classic pieces, giving students a rounded exposure to music.

I would be extremely grateful for these resources.

They will spark excitement in my students each day in the classroom. Aside from classroom enjoyment, the songs and instrumental pieces in this request can be used during a performance for family, friends and classmates. Each has a special spot in the elementary music curriculum, but can work for all students, no matter their age or level.
