Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students adore learning new songs, games, and movements. They also love using books in our classroom as we experience new ideas and content in the music room. As a music teacher, I often use songbooks and teacher resource books to get new ideas for my classes!

Your donation to this project will provide songbooks, resource books, and children's books for the amazing 400 students I see weekly in my music classroom.

A book like "Pout Pout Fish" will be used to teach students minor and major chords on the ukulele, as we read through the story together and discuss the character's emotions. There are endless opportunities for the books on this list.

My students deserve the world! Thank you for considering.
