My Students

Being in kindergarten, many of us do not know how to read yet. We are eager to learn and love finding letter sounds and syllables in our reading and writing! We love to discover reading!

My students are an eager bunch of kindergarteners who love to discover the world around them.

They have access to many books that unfortunately they do not know how to read yet! In our vibrant school, we are looking forward to delving into some great books that will inspire us to keep exploring.

My Project

We use a Spanish Language Arts Program called Estrellita and it is wonderful! We are missing the games and activities pack that will help make reading hands on and exciting. In addition, the highlighter tape will allow us to really visualize where the letters we are studying are and how they join other letters to create syllables. This will lead to us being able to put syllables together to form words and the rest is history!

Any donations to this project will help make learning how to read an interactive, hands-on and fun!

Learning how to read in a fun manner will ultimately inspire my students to keep reading and to get lost in the creativity and imagination found within the covers of a book.
