This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Do you remember the first time you were asked to read a play? For most people, hearing a teacher announce that the class was going to start reading Shakespeare was cause for moans and trepidation. This is the reaction I get every year when we reach our Shakespeare unit. However, reading the No Fear Shakespeare version of Macbeth will allow the students greater access and independence when reading the play.

If the students are able to read and understand a text that they were originally apprehensive of, their confidence will be boosted, and they will be more likely to try to read new things in the future.

By donating to our project, you will help increase my student's understanding of Macbeth and help open their minds to the world of Shakespeare.

Please help me provide my students with a deeper and more lasting impression of Macbeth.
