This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
I want my students to really understand the topics presented to them, and the only way I can do this is by making sure my science lessons are hands-on.
I work with an amazing group of children who are eager to learn.
I enjoy seeing the excitement in their eyes when we get ready to complete a science lab. My students come from diverse backgrounds which make them unique. Many of my students come from low income families. However, they are the best kids on the planet.
My Project
With this kit, students can make terrific worm-like gel strands and introduce chemical changes. This kit is a wonderful teaching tool for concepts of scientific method and hypothesis, investigation, control, variables, solutions and solubility, using pipets, pH indicators, acid-base reaction, states of matter, and gels. This will be a very exciting, ooey, gooey experiment for my students!
Your help will ensure that my students have the opportunity to truly understand chemistry.
With these resources students will begin to enjoy science and want to learn more about the subject matter.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
