My Project

I am the science teacher for 75 wonderful 4th grade students. There are 5 different languages within our class. Hands on experiences will give them a richer connection to the vocabulary needed to be successful across all content.

As we dive into understanding the properties of matter, we need to be able to chill chocolates, and freeze ice cream, and Sheldon, our tortoise needs a place to store his kale and carrots.

The mini fridge in our classroom with allow us an opportunity to understand how different elements react. We will be able to chart the changes over time as we apply the scientific method to simple tasks of molding chocolates, making ice cream, freezing water.
