Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I am the coach for the 1st ever softball Club at My elementary school where I am a 4th grade English teacher. This club is for Girls in grades 3rd- 5th how are interested in learning the fundamentals to softball. Our club is dedicated to empowering young girls to feel as there is nothing that they can not do along with promoting teamwork, physical fitness, and community engagement through softball.

We have exciting plans for the the softball club this upcoming season, including meeting softball players from local Universities in our area.

To make this happen, we are seeking financial support to cover equipment, Customized Softball T-shirts , snacks and tickets to local softball games. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help us achieve our goals and provide a positive experience for our players.
