Softball Gear To Play With No Fear

My students need batting tees to practice their swings. Space is limited at school, so the tees would really help them improve their game. The face masks are mandatory for safety concerns as well.

My Students

I teach some of the most dedicated students in the country. I also coach them for the schools softball team. To stay competitive with the other teams in our league, we need the proper equipment to do so.

Many of my student athletes do not come from homes where they can afford the equipment many other students from other schools bring to the game.

Much of the better equipment is far too expensive to afford and it definitely gives the other teams an advantage when they use it.

My Project

The equipment requested is needed for great practices and better games. The batting tees are a great tool to use at practice, but they are also great for kids who may want extra practice and repetitions before and after regular practice. The face guards are now mandatory. Pitchers and corner infielders must wear them, or the game will be a forfeit. Getting around from school to school is not easy, especially on the train or bus. The wheeled bag would replace our old bag. The older bag's zipper does not work, there are holes in the bottom in which the smaller equipment falls out. Also, the catchers mitt is needed to replace the old mitt that has been used for countless years.

All donations would be put to great use and would be greatly appreciated by the team and myself.

Everyone deserves a chance to succeed whether it be in the classroom or activities after school. The equipment requested would definitely make a difference in the lives of my young athletes.
