Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students enjoy learning and I love that they are creative and curious. A goal for this coming school year is to implement soft starts at the beginning of our day with STEM activities. My materials list includes bins that will be used for the organization of the materials. I've also included different activities I am sure my students will enjoy exploring. The gravity marble maze will help when we learn about energy and motion in science. Model building, magnetic tiles, and the other building kits will expose my students to exploration in construction, and problem solving. The STEM activities in my list are related to building and problem solving. They will serve as a way for students to warm up to thinking, working with others, and prepare themselves for the day while having fun. My goal is for students to be eager to come to school and be present physically and mentally. Starting the day with STEM activities will get us there.
