My Project

A "soft start" is a gentle invitation to the day. During homeroom, students have about 20 minutes to settle into the classroom. They gather their belongings for the day and then read independently.

This year, I would like to change that atmosphere by incorporating "soft starts" with puzzles, games, and other activities.

These games will make a huge difference by incorporating more play into the school day. It will also build our classroom community and teamwork.

Also, the document camera will help project worksheets and books to the Smartboard.

My students will love these new activities and tools in the classroom! Thank you!
