My Students

My group will consist of seventeen, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed preschoolers this upcoming school year 2021/2022. I currently have students that have dilapidated or unsatisfactory housing, are homeless, have severe trauma backgrounds, and developmental delays. These children come from diverse households that include single parent, divorced, LGBT, foster, and multi-generational families. To receive an education at my center, the family must fall below the federal poverty guidelines.

My students will be returning shortly to a classroom without carpet and in desperate need of cushioning to sit on while at various centers learning!

My Project

With our year beginning soon and our carpeting removed, items being asked for will provide a soft spot for learning centers that are typically utilized on the floor. I hope to have these cushioning options for our block and story board centers. I believe these will provide students comfort while they play and learn. I appreciate all the support my classroom has received over the last couple years with the generous donations. I want to thank you in advance for any support you are willing to give to my classroom!
