Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students would benefit from these items by starting the morning in a relaxing creative way in a spot where they can feel most comfortable. Many students come to school with high emotions from home and I would like the mornings in my classroom to start off on a positive note. For the project, I have added book racks so they can come in the morning, find their book and read independently. Learning dominoes will be added to morning bins to help build knowledge gaps from when they were online during the pandemic. Other items will be for open ended Stem activities. I have also added a flexible seating option to help my students move to where they feel comfortable.
