My Project

We are a Title I school with great potential. I love my students and spend most of my out-of-the-classroom time developing projects to enhance their learning and well-being.

Florida in the wintertime is subject to swings of weather.

Some days it is warm, others it is really cool. It is hard to plan for the temperature and there are times that my students are not prepared for the elements. Additionally, some of them have parents from the Caribbean where very cold weather isn't common. These jackets would mean that outside play is always available, even on chilly days and even for a child who doesn't have the right clothing.

The new uniforms will enhance the student's self-esteem and prevent bullying and name-calling by other students. Socks are necessary to keep their little toes warm and toasty, especially in the classroom where the temperature can be rather cool.

These sweatshirts have many features like front zip closure for easy on-and-off. They have deep pockets that help keep items like small toys, cars, marbles, change, and other treasures that children love to carry. My children will stay confident knowing they are wearing well-made clothing. Finally, these wonderful new sweatshirts will help my kids feel good about themselves.

In addition, healthy snacks fuel their learning brains and grumbling tummies to ensure students will be successful in the classroom because their nourishment won't be a priority.

Snacks will be used for kids who miss breakfast, treats for returned home learning, and good behavior.

Finally, the cereal will be sent home to feed the kids on the weekend.
