Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students struggle to socialize with their peers and staff. Being in high school, my students are running out of chances to learn how to socialize properly and effectively. Although I give my students many opportunities to speak up in class, they struggle due to the fear of being made fun of or saying the wrong answer.

Through the use of board games, students naturally open up and become more comfortable socializing with their peers, rather than their phones.

Please help me give my students these fun games to improve their social and cognitive skills, which will help them in their young adult lives.

Many of my students have never played these classic games, such as Battle Ship, Guess Who, or Sorry. Help me give them the opportunity to experience all the fun of playing social games and to decrease the amount of time they use their phones.
