My Project

I am requesting items that will support my students in group social play. My cart includes board games such as UNO, Go Fish, and Connect 4. These game encourage interaction, communication and play skills that my students really need. Students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder tend to not play together, but instead isolate themselves and choosing to play with non-traditional items. I am requesting these toys to develop and promote peer-to-peer play. I am hoping that by providing these toys, including floor puzzles, building blocks, and magnetic tiles, and games, that they seek personal connection and enjoyment with their peers and have fun together!
