Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students have a beautiful play space with limited activities. We started recess clubs last year and students really enjoyed learning more about different sports and activities. We noticed that when students are engaged in various active play that allows them to learn about teamwork and build specific skills, they thrive. We want to provide various activities to students to learn a new sport and also learn important socialization lessons that help them thrive as citizens in our world.

We are hoping to provide fun activities, such as table tennis, badminton, gaga ball, soccer, crocheting (for indoor days), and other fun sport activities.
