Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
With a majority of my students coming from low-income homes, this school year I wish to supply them with as many items as they possibly may need including markers, snacks, easel paper, and more.
My school is in an urban setting and despite the realities of their communities, they enjoy coming to school and learning!
This is my first year teaching and coming from the same city and dealing with similar upbringings, I know how difficult it may be to not have new things each school year. I hope you can understand and give what you can!
