Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our first-grade classroom library is in need of social studies books that will introduce my young learners to the world around them. These requested collections of books cover topics like community, families, cultures, map skills, economics, and the history of our country.
These resources will encourage curiosity about diversity, empathy, and social understanding, helping my students connect to their community and the broader world in an accessible way.
My young students are eager to learn about their world. These requested social studies books will be a greatly appreciated addition to our classroom library.
