My Project

I teach in an equity-focused school district at the Autistic High School. I am currently the job skills teacher, and I do not have a Social Skills curriculum for my amazing students.

This project would provide various items of different levels to share with my students to provide valuable social skills lessons.

The fabric would be added to the wall to provide some sensory input/output when they need it. I have a long bulletin board where this fabric will look fabulous. The social skills material will be used to teach the following skills: enhancing communication, understanding social cues, building relationships, increased confidence, conflict resolution, promoting independence, and practicing real-world scenarios.
