Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My classroom consists of a wide variety of grades and individual student need. The students in my class receive services under the special education umbrella. The one commonality across students is that they all participate in an additional social skills curriculum throughout their day for positive social and emotional development.

My students are exceptional in that they face many great obstacles yet still manage to overcome adversity with additional support.

They work hard at learning new skills and practice making better choices throughout the day.

My Project

I teach children who have social and emotional disabilities in grades K-5. I am searching for additional resources to help build upon our social skills curriculum in order to motivate my students and help them acquire the lifelong skills they need to be successful now and in the future.

Building social skills in our youth is essential in order to be productive in today's society.

We are always searching for new, fun, and engaging ways to role play and practice our socialization skills. These resources I selected will make that possible. My students deserve an environment rich in resources to ensure their success! Thank you for your support and consideration towards our classroom wish.
