My Students

My fifth-grade students strive to be students of the world. Our school provides as many opportunities to have students reach outside our small community to reach their dreams as we can. They are a capable and motivated group who have BIG dreams of careers including math, science, dance, art, technology, sports, and more!

Participating in STEM education prepares my students to live in the ever-evolving 21st century where technology and science are at the forefront!

I have 30 students, comprised of English language learners, special education students, gifted-talented advanced learners, and more! They are a group of creative students who love to read and deserve a safe space to grow into the young adults they are destined to be.

My Project

Every day students come to school wanting to feel happy, healthy, and welcome. Intermediate students are the perfect balance of "little kid" energy and enthusiasm, with learning more "big kid" content - it's my favorite place to be every day! Creating a space where students feel comfortable helps facilitate daily learning and create a warm, welcoming classroom community.

Making the classroom feel welcome by providing socially distanced storage for all of the student materials will help students thrive in the classroom.

Now, more than ever, students need space to hold their materials is extremely beneficial to allow students a place to call their own. Currently, our classroom has no built in storage and therefore student and classroom materials are piled on and under desks and on the floors. Both teachers and students will benefit from more learning time that this organization would provide.
